2014 Mainland and Hong Kong Construction Industry Forum


Jointly organized by Development Bureau of HKSAR (DevB) and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MOHURD), "2014 Mainland and Hong Kong Construction Industry Forum" will be held at Nanning, Guangxi of China. The Hong Kong Institute of Architects is one of the Co-organizers in Hong Kong. Our President Ms. Ada Fung will be one of the speakers at the Forum.

Details are as follows:  

Theme: Collaborative Development with a Global Perspective, Integrated Project Management with Innovative Technology
Date: 9 to 11 November 2014 (Sunday – Tuesday)
Time: Full day (3 Days 2 Nights)
Venue: Nanning, Guangxi, China
Minimum Quota to HKIA: 8 HKIA Members (HKIA Members only; seats will be allocated on first-come, first-served basis)
Total cost including the HK$4,000 Forum Expenses: on self-financing basis, approximately HK$8,500-HK$15,000 depending on availability of the flights, number of nights of hotel accommodation, cost of the optional Liuzhou Study Mission, etc.

Reimbursement (partially subsidized) may be provided under the budget allocation for Board of Mainland Affairs upon submission of a report on  the sharing of this trip in Chinese (template download below) together with a copy of relevant boarding pass, hotel accommodation receipts, etc. The final amount of subsidy depends on the number of participants.

To register, please return the followings to Ms. Erica Chan of HKIA Secretariat on or before 12 September 2014:-
  1. completed registration form;
  2. a crossed cheque amounted HK$4,000, payable to "The Hong Kong Federation of Electrical and Mechanical Contractors Ltd”;
  3. a photo of the delegate which will be used in the Forum Publication (requirements please refer to the registration form)

Payment of flight shall be made by delegates to the agent direct. Delegates will be informed of the booking arrangement separately.

Payment of hotel accommodation and other expenses in the hotel shall be made by delegates to the hotel direct.
